The Commerce Casino in Los Angeles is all set to host The L.A. Poker Classic.
The 60-tournament series is all the way to start soon. The event will open with an ambitious $100,000 guarantee. It will have just a $175 buy-in. The turnout of the event is big and it has crushed the expectation of many with the number of players participating in are 1,079 players. It will create the prize pool of $161,850.
The tournament series will begin on the 13 of January and will continue till 1 of March 2017. In the entire series, it is expected that the action will stay hot.
The highlights of the tournament include the exclusive tournament of Commerce $175 all-in or tournament ‘fold bounty’. The clock heads-up tournament $570 and no-limit hold’em tournament $1,100. The no-limit hold’em tournament $1,100 will have $1 million guarantee and four starting days.

New Jersey might be having a populous casino scene, online as well as offline, but a recent finding showcases that the residents are not in favor of expanding casinos any further in the city.
There was a new poll held where NJ residents were asked about their opinion as to what they felt about casinos being expanded beyond Atlantic City. Most residents in NJ would want the casinos to be limited to Atlantic City.
Residents in New Jersey have been included in a recent poll as the state is being pushed by casino owners to allow expansion of such venues outside the limits of Atlantic City. The trepidation could be due to the falling down of iconic venues like Trump Taj Mahal, which would be the fifth in line to shut the doors. This has been happening over the last five years. The governor and other lawmakers are in favor of allowing casinos to be built in other cities as they feel that it would help raise employment and revenue aspect in the state.
